The Knowledge Path for Indigenous Defense is a virtual training program organized by COICA, within the framework of the Evaristo Nugkuag Indigenous Training School and the Program for the Defense of Indigenous Women and Men Defenders.

The course is designed to strengthen capacities for the defense of lives, territories, traditional knowledge, and Indigenous peoples’ own forms of governance. Throughout the journey, participants will advance through five training sections related to territorial governance, traditional knowledge, collective rights, community self-protection, communication, and advocacy.

The process combines videos, downloadable materials, practical activities, word circles, feedback assessments, and a final assessment for certification.
